Welcome to TimeFramed Photography!

Precious moments captured forever--and framed.

We're often asked...

Here a few of the most common questions we receive -

{Q} What should we wear for our pictures?
{A} Anything you want! We recommend vibrant colors, classy accessories, and rich textures. Try to avoid the traditional matching outfits--not only is it somewhat old news, but it is also rather challenging to do.
If you would like to coordinate outfits in some way, we recommend a very subtle coordination (a splash of the same color throughout the outfits for example). Have a color palette of 3-4 colors to choose from, or don't match at all, just make sure all the outfits come together nicely.
Ultimately, you should wear whatever you are comfortable in--whatever makes you feel good about yourself.

{Q} What props should we use?
{A} What do you love? What represents you? What are you interested in? Intrigued by? What music do you listen to? What car do you drive (or wish you drove)?
The best portraits are taken with the things that make you and your family who you/they are.

{Q} Should we take outdoor photos, or indoor?
{A} Well, what do you want? How is the weather? When you are you available?
We love both indoor AND outdoor photography. We love the beautiful natural light of the outdoors, and the endless vibrance and textures you get when shooting outdoors, but at the same time, we have professional lighting and backdrops to make indoor photography interesting, beautiful, and fun--not to mention convenient!

{Q} Do you offer "package deals"?
{A} Sure! What are you thinking about? Let's chat--we're sure we can work something out that makes sense for everyone.

{Q} How do I pay for my session?
{A} We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards (expect to pay an additional 5% if you use a credit card--gotta love those fees...).

{Q} Do I need to pay a deposit?
{A} Yes. In order to reserve a session you need to pay a non-refundable $45 deposit.

{Q} How many outfit changes and locations can we have?
{A} You are free to use as many outfits and locations as you want. One caution though--you only have 45 minutes, so the more time spent changing locations and clothes means less images overall.

{Q} How long does it take to receive my images?
{A} Though we strive to deliver your final images in a timely manner, you should anticipate about two to three weeks for the finished product.

{Q} How many images will I receive?
{A} Depending on a number of variables (cooperation, changes, "helpers," weather, etc.), you can expect to receive anywhere from 15 to 25 finished images.

{Q} Do I get all of the images you take?
{A} No. Since we shoot entirely in digital format, we are kinda "trigger-happy" and end up releasing the shutter hundreds of time,...literally! Many of the images we take will be ruined by camera blur, blinking, and other travesties. Also, most of the images we take are essentially the same photo taken several times in quick succession.
Don't be alarmed, we won't leave out any priceless images. You will receive all of the worthwhile shots.

{Q} Is there a limit to the number of prints I can make?
{A} No. You will receive all of your high resolution images on a CD with a photo release that allows you to print to your heart's content.

{Q} Where should I go to print my images?
{A} You can actually get great quality prints from Wal-Mart, Costco, and other places like them for a really good value. If you are interested in a higher quality print though, we can discuss other options with you at the time of the shoot.

{Q} Do you photograph weddings?
{A} Yes, but rarely. Due to the time and energy required to shoot wedding photos--yes, they are HARD!--we charge $299 an hour for weddings. We will mutually agree on a "hard" start and end time before we sign wedding contracts. Please contact us for more details.

{Q} Do you design cards/announcements?
{A} Sure! Let us know what you are looking for and we will give you an idea of what it would cost.

{Q} Can you create a video slideshow of my images?
{A} Yes, and we love doing it! We charge $189 for a slideshow to one song, and $89 for each additional song. Ask us about our "Life Tribute" Slideshows!

{Q} What if I am late to my session?
{A} Due to our very limited availability, we need to ensure a very prompt end time for every session so we can accomodate as many people as possible. Your 45 minutes will begin precisely at the agreed to time. If you are late, you will have less time for your shoot which translates to less final images. You will still be charged full price for the shorter photoshoot.
Needless to say, we hate having to do this--it is never fun--so please, please, please try to be on time. You should anticipate at least one to two hours of prep time for your shoot, so please plan ahead!

{Q} What if I have to reschedule?
{A} We understand that things come up and you may need to reschedule your session. If you let us know 24 hours prior to your session, we will allow you to apply the $45 deposit to a different date, however, if you let us know less than 24 hours prior to your session, you will forfeit the deposit and be required to pay an additional $45 deposit to reserve a new time.

{Q} Will you use my pictures for promotional purposes?
{A} Yes--with your permission--we may use your images in our portfolios, online and offline marketing campaigns, and other promotional purposes. We would also appreciate brief testimonials and references if you are willing!
